COPELAND SPODE “FLEUR DE LIS” GILT-DECORATED DINNER SERVICE. Mid-20th century. Each with a border of scrolled leaftips, repeating fleur de lis, and sprigs on an ivory ground with a silver-gilt scalloped edge. Comprising a teapot, creamer, and covered sugar; an oval 14-1/2″ platter, a square 9″ open vegetable dish, an oval 8-1/2″ scallop-form dish, and six 3-1/2″ nut dishes. Together with twelve 10-1/2″ dinner plates, twelve 8″ salad plates, twelve 8″ soup bowls, eleven 6-1/4″ butter plates, twelve 3-1/2″ cups and ten 5-1/2″ saucers. The bottom of each marked “Spode BONE CHINA ENGLAND” with the registration number “Y.7515.” and underglaze mark. Total of 81 pieces. SIZE: As noted above. PROVENANCE: From a Bangor, ME, collection. CONDITION: Very good overall, with minor and minimal surface scratches. 9-92362 (600-900)
