*RARE SMITH & WESSON COMMERCIAL VICTORY MODEL DA REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Spcl. SN SV812308. Rare blued finish Victory Model with 4” bbl, integral half moon front sight, case colored trigger & hammer with diamond checkered silver medallion magna grips. Accompanied by a gold & blue 2-pc box for a 38 M&P revolver. Also accompanies is a Smith & Wesson letter, identifying this revolver and indicating that it was shipped March 11, 1946 to Belknap Hardware Company, Louisville, Kentucky. It also states that “This is one of the left-over revolvers originally made for sale to the U.S. Government converted to a commercial model after WWII ended”. CONDITION: Extremely fine. All matching including the grips. Retains 95-97% strong original factory blue. Hammer & trigger retain virtually all their original case colors. Grips are exceptionally fine with light wear on the right side and retain most of their original varnish. Crisp mechanics and bright shiny bore. 4-51808 JR522 (500-800)
