LOT OF TWO REMINGTON #4 REVOLVERS WITH ONE BOX. 1) Cal. 38 CF. SN 21730. Nickel finish, 2-1/2” rnd bbl with crisp markings, 2-pc checkered hard rubber grips. Accompanied by original 2-pc cardboard box, green bottom, red top with instructions in top. Bottom of box is stamped in ink, “FULL PLATE. / No.4-38 / R. P.” Additional numbers “95” on the top & bottom portions of frame, and “80” on the bottom of bbl & rear of cyl, the meanings of which are not known. Frame is cut for both firing pins. CONDITION: Excellent with some nicks & dings but retaining most of the nickel. Grips are sharp. Bore has light pitting. Mechanically fine. Box shows wear on the edges with repairs on the corners & edges. 2) Cal. 38 CF. SN 10138. With rare blued finish, 2-1/2” rnd bbl with crisp markings, 2-pc checkered hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Fine with 80% thinning blue, worn on the grip straps, muzzle, and front of cyl. Grips are worn at the high spots. Bore is lightly pitted. Mechanically fine. 4-59461 JH40 (1,500-2,000)
