DUFFNER & KIMBERLY LEADED ORCHID TABLE LAMP. Extremely rare and beautiful shade has four central panels leaded to represent white orchids in various stages of bloom. The glass used in the pattern is primarily white with striations of soft green with a few pieces being rippled glass to give more of a depth to the flowers. The background foliage is a multitude of greens set against a softly striated spring green. These four panels are set in rows of geometric glass and in every shade of green imaginable. The shade is supported by a highly ornate three socket base with a deep green-brown finish. Base is completed with three acorn pulls, top cap and finial. Base is signed on the underside “Duffner & Kimberly.” This extremely rare shade may be found in original Duffner & Kimberly archive photographs that are pictured in the book “Mosaic Shades Vol. II” by Paul Crist, page 294. SIZE: Shade is 16″ dia. Overall 24″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with very few tight hairlines, old solder repair done to the aperture. 5-68210 (20,000-25,000)
