KONSTANTIN IVANOVICH GORBATOV (Russian, 1876-1945) THE BOATS OF CAPRI. Colorful oil on canvasboard shows a line of sailboats with colorful sails sailing left to right reflecting in a blue and green ocean under colorful sky. Several figures are seen aboard the boats. Signed lower left “C Gorbatov 1926”. Housed in a silver gilt wood frame which has a “Hermann Gieseler, Berlin” label. SIZE: 16″ x 19-3/4″. CONDITION: Some paint chips which show white on bottom edge. Also some small scattered chipping in sky, otherwise generally very good. 9-95113 (15,000-25,000)
