MEISSEN PLATEAU. Second half 19th century. German. Floral decorated plateau with scrolling edges, opposing sides with cartouche, one decorated with lovers in a pastoral setting. Scrolled feet applied with flowerheads. Incised “2745”. Impressed mark “34”. Crossed swords in underglaze blue. SIZE: 4″ h x 10″ square. PROVENANCE: From a fine New Jersey home. CONDITION: Small losses to leaf tips and flower petals in area of feet. Otherwise very good. 9-24552 (200-400)
