SUIT OF ARTICULATED MINIATURE ARMOR. Extremely fine detailed suit of miniature armor with chain mail, a leather cuirass, complete with helmet, greaves, foot covers, hand covers, a shield, helmet, a miniature sword & scabbard, dagger & spurs and a miniature battle-axe. He measures about 13″ high and is mounted to a mahogany board in a homemade carrying case. There is a small silver plaque at the bottom which is inscribed “Sir John Harleston”. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Appears to be intact except for a missing thumb on his left hand and one broken strap. No visible corrosion. 4-53745 (350-650)
