ATTRIBUTED TO GEORGE INNESS (American, 1825-1894) LONG ISLAND LANDSCAPE. Unframed oil on canvas landscape scene shows a small grouping of cattle at water with farmer beside. A fenced field is seen beyond. Appears to be unsigned on front but having an old signature to back “G Inness”. A “P. Dechaux & Co. New York” canvas stamp to reverse. SIZE: 13″ x 19″. CONDITION: As is with paint loss, in need of cleaning & restoration. 9-22531 (1,000-1,500)
