TWO BRASS AND GLASS CASED CARRIAGE CLOCKS. First half 20th century, France. The first with enameled dial and Arabic numeral chapter ring. The back plate engraved “MADE IN FRANCE”. The second a time and alarm carriage clock. The front with enameled Arabic numeral chapter ring marked “MICHAU/FRANCE” above a subsidiary alarm hour dial. Each within jewel encrusted border. SIZE: 1) 4-1/2″ h. 2) 4-1/4″ h. CONDITION: Appears very good. No keys present. First clock with chip in rear beveled door panel, otherwise good. Second with crack to proper left beveled side panel and with chip at corner to proper right side panel. 9-27934 (600-1,200)
