NEW ENGLAND WINDSOR SACK-BACK ARMCHAIR. Late 18th century. Of typical form, the bowed crest rail with seven spindles, the mid-rail continuing to flattened arms with shaped flat grips, joined to the shaped saddle seat, raised on bulbous turned splayed legs joined by an H-form swelled stretcher. SIZE: 37″ h. of back. 17-1/2″ h. of seat. CONDITION: Restored and refinished with nice medium brown color. 9-94460 (500-800)
