Large oil on canvas nautical scene shows a busy coastal ocean filled with large and small ships sailing under a early evening sky with gray clouds and central area with moonlight. Off in the distance is seen Elsinore Castle and shoreline. Signed lower right, “A. RIIS CARSTENSEN”. Housed in a wide molded wood, stained frame with gilt gesso liner. SIZE: 22″ x 32-1/4″.
