RARE TIFFANY STUDIOS DIVER HELMET DESK LAMP. Lamp begins with a solid bronze circular pedestal foot that supports turtleback tiles representing the shape of a divers helmet. The turtleback tiles are a beautiful butterscotch hue with clambroth coloration with both colors having a beautiful iridescent finish. Lamp is completed with a bronze hammered loop handle with openwork beneath. Lamp has a single socket for proper illumination. We consider this to be one of the rarest Tiffany desk lamps we have ever offered. Signed on the underside “Tiffany Studios New York 5094” as well as the Tiffany Glass & Decorating logo. A similar example of this lamp is pictured in “Tiffany At Auction” page 96, plate 262. SIZE: Overall 10-1/2″ t.
