FINE INLAID WRITING BOX. The box made of nice figured walnut, heavily inlaid with parquetry bands in multicolor inlays in geometric form, the edges having similar design. Top brass inscription plate, unused but scratched. The slanted writing surface having a blue felt surface, pen tray, and one compartment having lid. Lock present, no key. SIZE: 6-3/4″ h x 19-1/2″ w x 10-1/4″ d. CONDITION: Inside writing surface has age crack, missing front escutcheon plate, some light damage around hinges. Otherwise good. 7-73586 (200-300)
