FEDERAL CHERRY TRAY TOP CANDLE STAND. First quarter 19th century, New England. The square chamfered top with molded raised edges fitted with a doubled-ended sliding drawer. The top joined to the ring-turned, urn-form shaft raised on tripod cabriole leg base with snake feet. SIZE: 26″ h x 19-1/2″ l 19″ w. CONDITION: Repolished with honey brown color. Legs are reattached to shaft but without breaks or restoration. Good overall. 9-28829 (350-450)
