CONTINENTAL CAST-BRONZE CLASSICAL TAZZA. Second half 19th century. The scrolled handles cast with flute players joined to the shallow circular molded bowl, the center cast with a classical maiden within a rondel, raised on a cast Ionic column, the base with berries and leaftips continuing to a stepped circular plinth. SIZE: 11-1/2″ h x 15″ dia. CONDITION: Very nice condition overall. Old polish; handles in need of minor re-adjustment. 9-92867 (400-600)
