BRONZE & WOOD FOUNTAIN LAMP. Very impressive bronze fountain design has horses and shells extending from a boulder-like body. Above each extended shell is a grotesque face with open mouth, probably designed to spill water. Rearing horses have oversized stylized hoofs. Above the horses and shells is a bronze shell shaped reservoir with inverted swans on each side. The center of the reservoir has a three tier glass bowl which holds an eight arm gilt light fixture. The reservoir is surrounded by pressed glass decoration designed to look like flowing water or icicles. The bronze fountain is mounted on a scrolled four legged base with applied bronze acanthus leaves at the bottom. SIZE: Approx. 78” t. CONDITION: Shades missing and glass bowl is cracked.
