LARGE FRENCH CHILD DOLL. This head is incised “S.F.B.J. PARIS 13″, she has blue glass sleep eyes, lower painted lashes, original silk upper lashes, open mouth with six upper teeth and is on her original fully jointed wood and composition body. She’s been appropriately redressed in a white cotton drop waist costume with pink inserts at the waist and neckline. The antique honey colored wig is either human hair or possibly horse hair and the shoes are old white leather baby boots. SIZE: 28-1/2” (72 cm). CONDITION: Bisque in overall good condition with minor speckling on the forehead and cheeks, body has been repainted and also has some flaking, especially on the knee joints and hands. 1-8056 RS (700-1,100)
