NEW ENGLAND CHIPPENDALE STYLE BIRDSEYE MAPLE CHEST OF DRAWERS. 19th century. The rectangular case with molded top fitted with four graduated long drawers of highly figured Birdseye maple on a molded base raised on bracket feet with shaped returns. SIZE: 37″ h x 40-1/2″ w x 17″ d. CONDITION: Structurally very good. Proper left side of case with shrinkage crack on seam. Oval floral stamped brass hardware of the period but not original to chest.
