AMERICAN FEDERAL BIRCH SIDE TABLE. Early 19th century. The rectangular top above the conforming frieze fitted with a single drawer with incised edge, raised on square tapered legs. The whole now in a dark red wash. SIZE: 31″ h x 22-3/4″ w x 29-1/2″ d. CONDITION: The later red surfaces over earlier painted surface, now removed. With original drawer, original pegged construction and showing no visible signs of restoration. Structurally very good. 9-27508 (250-350)
