SHERATON MAHOGANY PEMBROKE TABLE. Second quarter 19th century, New York. The rectangular single board top with hinged D-form leaves above a conforming frieze fitted with opposing drawers inlaid with checkerboard stringing. Raised on tapered ring-turned cylindrical legs with ringed cuffs. SIZE: 29″ h x 23″ w x 37″ l. CONDITION: With old if not original surfaces, good color and patina. Some minor and minimal losses to stringing and corner of one drawer. Top with old inactive shrinkage crack. Otherwise very good. 9-27448 (300-500)
