TWO CANADIAN CARVED AND PAINTED STOOLS. Second quarter 19th Century. Each example with round seat joined to splayed spool turned and swelled legs joined by a swelled box stretcher. One in red paint over brown over original white paint. Second painted green over brown over white paint. SIZE: 17″ h x 11-1/2″ dia. CONDITION: Structurally very good with later painted surfaces. 9-24138 (400-600)
