PAIR OF NEW ENGLAND BRASS BALL TOP LEFT AND RIGHT ANDIRONS. First quarter 19th Century. In the manner of Hunneman, Boston, each with mid banded ball top above the baluster and ring turned shaft on lappeted arched spurred cabriole legs on platform slipper feet joined to “S” scrolled dogs. SIZE: 14-1/2″h x 21-1/2″ overall depth. CONDITION: Very good overall with normal scratches to surfaces, one dog is an early welded replacement. Otherwise very good with original peening. 9-94462 (250-500)
