CARVED MAHOGANY WALL PLAQUE OF AN ANGEL. 19th century. Carved from the solid, the cherubic face with long flowing hair wearing a toga with spread wings, mounted on a stepped plinth. SIZE: h. 11″ x w. 17-3/4″ CONDITION: Small loss to carving at proper right shoulder. Shrinkage seam split running from ear to ear through back of chin. Otherwise very good. 9-99593 (300-500)
