HANGING WALL BOX IN RED PAINT. Second quarter 19th century, probably New York. The hinged rectangular lid fitted to the conforming dovetailed box with shaped backboard drilled for wall mounting. All with untouched original red surfaces. Note: each side of box at rear of lid drilled for locking mechanism. SIZE: 7″ h x 12″ l x 7″ d. CONDITION: Very good overall. 9-27518 (450-550)
