RARE REMINGTON ELLIOT ZIG ZAG 6-SHOT PEPPERBOX. Cal. 22 RF. SN 309. Rare, in silver plate, circa 1861 or 62, estimated less than 1,000 made. 3-1/8” cluster bbl, ring trigger with 2-pc smooth brown gutta percha grips. Standard three line marking on both sides of frame. CONDITION: Very fine with 90% of slightly tarnished silver remaining. Grips show wear on the bottom edges and have slightly faded in color. Bores are lightly pitted. Mechanically fine. 4-59352 JH80 (2,500-3,500)
