TIFFANY STUDIOS ABALONE FRAME. Beautiful calendar style frame in the Abalone pattern begins with a desirable gold finish and is complimented by an all over abalone pattern. Tiffany originally created this design to represent a grape pattern and used the abalone disc to form the design. Made of bronze, this pattern shows fine workmanship with its incised lines having tonal color that further enhances this design. Signed on the underside “Tiffany Studios New York 1166″. SIZE: 6-1/2″ x 5-3/4”. Opening: 3-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with one abalone disc missing. 5-68587 (1,200-1,600)
