UNUSUAL REDWARE SLIP-DECORATED TANKARD. Mid 19th century, American. With swelled sides, everted mouth, and small applied flat handle, slip-decorated with floral sprays centering a flower head. Mottled green glaze. SIZE: 6″ h. CONDITION: With tight old hairline running vertically from top rim through center. Normal and expected wear and abrasions overall and with minor and expected chips to foot rim. Otherwise good. 7-70337 (200-300)
