FRED HAUCKE (American, 1908-1960) “SHOCK”. Unframed oil on masonite fantasy scene shows an alien face emanating from a plant stalk with attached heart with arteries leading to skeleton bones. Signed lower right. Also signed on reverse and dated “43” and numbered “320”. Accompanying the painting are three brochures of the artist, one “Paintings of Special Interest to the Psychiatrist” in which this painting is illustrated. SIZE: 48″ x 24″.
