PORCELAIN ALLEGORICAL PORTRAIT PLAQUE TOGETHER WITH A FLORENTINE FRAME. Late 19th- Early 20th century, Germany. The oval painted allegorical plaque depicting a Nun gazing at a crucifix, a winged angel behind her holding a crown of thorns mounted within a guilt Florentine frame. The reverse impressed with numeral 12. Titled on verso “St. Catherine of Reici”. Offered together with a second guilt Florentine frame. SIZE: Sight: 5″ x 3-3/4″. Second frame: 14″ x 9-1/2″. CONDITION: Plaque is very good. Second frame in need of restoration. 9-27494 (400-500)
