NEW ENGLAND PINE TAVERN TABLE. 2nd half 18th century. The two-board top with breadboard ends projecting above the conforming molded frieze, raised on square legs joined by a simple box stretcher. All of pegged construction. SIZE: 26-1/2″ h. x 38-1/2″ l. x 25″ w. CONDITION: Table retains some of original red paint on underside of top, normal and expected wear to stretchers. Ends of legs somewhat worn down from original height. Exposed surfaces of table now in medium brown. 9-99624 (700-900)
