JACOBEAN STYLE OAK GATELEG SIDE TABLE. 20th century, England. Comprised of old timber, this nice benchmade example of typical form. The hinged rectangular top with rounded edge and demilune leaves joined to the conforming base of eight ring-turned columnar legs, joined by a box stretcher terminating in compressed ball feet. SIZE: 18-1/2″ h x 9″ w x 24″ l closed. PROVENANCE: From a fine coastal Westerly, RI estate. CONDITION: With pegged construction overall, very good original condition. Top needs re-polishing due to watermarks. A nice example with good color. 9-28350 (500-1,000)
