PAUL WEBER (American, 1823-1916) WATCHING OVER THE FLOCK. Oil on canvas landscape scene shows a mother and child seated next to a small stream while on the other side a flock of sheep feed and rest along a dirt path. An oncoming storm approaches from the left coming across a low mountain. Signed lower right “Paul Weber 1865″. Housed in a modern gilt frame. SIZE: 15″ x 21”. CONDITION: Four small tears with a 1″ square section of paint loss in sky, craquelure, in need of restoration. Otherwise good. 9-98928 (800-1,200)
