COASTAL NEW ENGLAND SHERATON MAHOGANY AND BIRD’S-EYE MAPLE DROP-LEAF WORK TABLE. Second quarter 19th century. The square figured mahogany top with reeded edges and conforming D-form hinged conforming leaves, above the frieze of two short drawers with bird’s-eye maple fronts and cast-brass knobs, raised on swelled cylindrical spiral twist ring-turned legs. SIZE: 29″ h. Top closed: 18-1/4″ x 18″. CONDITION: Professionally restored and repolished, with very nice color and surfaces. Retaining old original hardware. 9-94436 (1,200-1,600)
