RARE OVERSIZED “DUCK WITH DUCKLINGS” SQUEAK TOY. Second quarter 19th century. This composition and pine example of a molded duck with two ducklings mounted on a rectangular pine box with “squeak” mechanism within. Duck and ducklings with bright polychrome painted surfaces. SIZE: 6-3/4″ h x 7-3/4″ w x 4″ d. CONDITION: Squeaker inoperative, with small losses to base of box. Original painted surfaces with minor abrasions, generally good 9-27777 (700-900)
