LALIQUE RED PERRUCHES VASE. Outstanding Lalique vase has allover pattern of pairs of parakeets perched on limbs. Signed on the underside with engraved script signature “R. Lalique France”. PROVENANCE: From the ex-collection of Louis H. Chalif. Mr. Chalif was a Russian ballet master who came to the United States in 1904 and founded the Chalif Normal School of Dance in Manhattan. The Chalif building across from Carnegie Hall still bears his name. SIZE: 10” t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with several amber colored bubbles visible in the pattern from mfg. 5-62684 (10,000-15,000)
