THREE-PIECE SET OF PARIS PORCELAIN. White porcelain with extensive gilt decoration, each fitted with a leaf and gilt knob. Set consists of: oval covered tureen with undertray. Each piece bearing the name in cobalt “Faulds”. Along with a matching pair of round covered double handled entree dishes, each of which having the same name and presentation. NOTE: From the family of Dr. Henry Faulds who perfected the technique of fingerprinting, (1840-1932). SIZE: Tureen: 10″ h without undertray x 13-1/2″. Undertray: 9-1/2″ x 14-1/4″. Entree: 7″ h x 8-1/2″ dia. (without handles) CONDITION: Very good. 9-98773 (500-800)
