CONFEDERATE STYLE SADDLE PACK. 18” x 8” 19th century rnd brown leather pack secured by 3 straps and roller buckles. Large tooled floral motif on top. Leather handles on either side. Well made with bed ticking compartment on inner flap. Main compartment lined in linen. Pack overall sound, large water stain. Complete and supple. This particular style pack has been noted with Confederate history before. CONDITION: Pack is intact. Interior very good. Some staining and soiling. Surface of pack has crazing, staining. A name inked on side of back in contemporary ink says “W Root Troy, NY”. 4-56213-135 JS316 (100-200)
