CHIPPENDALE FIGURED MAHOGANY LOOKING GLASS. Circa 1780. The rectangular plate within a molded surround beneath the shaped scrolled crest, above a conforming scalloped and scrolled pendant apron. SIZE: 35-1/2″ x 19-1/2″. PROVENANCE: From a fine home in Bucksport, Maine. CONDITION: Original with no restoration. Two strip reinforcements missing. Cleaned surface.
