GEORGE III MAHOGANY BUTLER’S TRAY ON STAND. Late 18th century. The rectangular tray with ebony stringing, each side with hinged demilune gallery all with reeded edges and central pierced hand grip. Fitted to a later table stand of rectangular form raised on molded square chamfered legs. SIZE: Overall 23″ h, working surface 18-1/2″ h, open 35″ l x 27-1/4″ w. CONDITION: The tray with old repairs to areas around hinges. Tray retains old repolished surfaces, hardware original. 9-99933 (500-700)
