19TH CENTURY FOLDING TABLE AND FOLDING CAMP CHAIR. Table 29” x 20”, made by “PARIS MANUFACTURING CO., SOUTH PARIS, ME”. Camp chair with canvas seat and back, no discernible markings. Table and chair both in good condition, both functional. Letter of provenance from Michael Anderson indicates it was purchased in the 1960’s from the Marfield Estate in Chillcothe, Ohio and according to family information, had belonged to James T. Marfield enlisted as Lt. In Co. B of the 114th OVI, August 6, 1862; killed December 29, 1862. CONDITION: Numerous nicks, scrapes, and marring to wood. Canvas on chair is sound with some fraying. 4-56213-23 (400-800)
