2 PUNCHED TIN REVERE LANTERNS. 1st quarter 19th century. Each cylindrical example with conical top and shaped carrying handle. The hinged door of each opening to the interior fitted with candleholder. The first example in white paint with concentric circle and pinwheel pierced designs. The second example in black paint with rayed or “sunburst” pierced designs. SIZE: 1ST: 17” h.(incl. handle). 2ND: 16-1/2” h.(incl. handle). CONDITION: Both lanterns in original condition, very good overall. 9-99857 (300-400)
