LOT OF 4 PIECES OF CIVIL WAR ERA 19TH CENTURY TIN WARE. Lot consists of two coffee pots. One 7” tall, one 6” tall, both with attached hinged tops with wood finial tops. One tinned shaving mug with removable soap dish. Shaving cup includes a later vintage razor and soap brush. One 8” tall handled tin container with removable handled tin lid. All these objects show lots of solder where they were put together. Similar objects are dug in campsites and battlefields in Civil War sites. Photographs of camps sometimes show tin utilitarian objects such as these. CONDITION: Very good overall, in as found condition. 4-56213-1 JS148 (200-400)
