*SMITH & WESSON PRE-MODEL 29 DA REVOLVER. Cal. 44 Mag. SN S172743. Blue finish, 4-screw frame, 5” bbl, red ramp & white outline sights, target trigger & hammer, and diamond checkered medallion magnum grips. Accompanied by a S & W letter identifying this revolver and indicating shipment June 17, 1958 to Henkle & Joyce Hardware Co., Lincoln, NE. The letter further states that it was originally shipped with a 6.5” bbl, and the 5” must have been added later. CONDITION: Very fine. Retains 94-96% strong bright original blue with light muzzle & edge wear and a light cylinder line. Grips show light to moderate wear with a hairline on the left side.
