SMITH & WESSON 38 DOUBLE ACTION 3RD MODEL REVOLVER. Cal. 38 S&W. Nickel finish, 6” keyhole ribbed bbl with 2-pc red and black mottled hard rubber grips. Left side of the grip frame is stamped “9 11”. Although no factory refinished star is present this apparently is the date of refinish. SN 222100. CONDITION: Very fine, all matching except the grips Retains about 95% strong nickel with a spot of pitting on rib. Grips are fine with moderate wear, numbered 164504.
