ADAM LEHR (American, 1853-1924) THE FINAL HARVEST. Oil on canvas late autumn scene shows a field with recently stacked corn stalks making large triangular mounds. Several figures can be seen resting beside one and a farmhouse is seen in the distance below a hill. Signed lower left and dated “1894”. Housed in its original deep and wide gesso decorated gold frame. SIZE: 16″ x 24″. CONDITION: Unrestored, original canvas has a discolored varnish layer, surface dirt and should clean up nicely. 9-97049 (800-1,200)
