A.E. CROWELL PAIR OF MINIATURE PINTAIL DUCKS. A. Elmer Crowell (American, 1862-1962) of East Harwich, MA. Each with the Crowell impressed rectangular makers mark. Drake pintail inscribed “#3” in pencil, the female with “#4″ in pencil. Each on clam shell base. SIZE: Drake: 3-1/4″ h x 5-1/2″ l. Female: 2-2/3″ h x 3-1/2” l. CONDITION: Both examples retain original and untouched painted surfaces. Drake shows the seam where the head attaches to the body resulting from apparent minor shrinkage, otherwise good.
