A.E. CROWELL MINIATURE GREEN WING TEAL AND A BLUE WING TEAL. A. Elmer Crowell (American, 1862-1962) of East Harwich, MA. Each with the Crowell impressed rectangular makers mark. Green wing teal with number “15” inscribed in pencil; blue wing teal with number “18” inscribed in pencil. Each miniature bird mounted on a clam shell base. Green wing retaining bright original coloration of paint, blue wing equally well done. SIZE: Green: 2-3/4″ h x 4″ l. Blue: 3″ h x 4″ l. CONDITION: Each in very fine original condition. Green wing example with minor scuffing and paint loss at tip of beak. 9-98862 (1,000-1,600)
