BUTCH MARX DePALMA GAS POWERED RACER. Using an original car from which patterns for the cast parts were made to assure accuracy of sizes. The body is wood carved and painted yellow as the original was. It is mounted on the correct strapped steel chassis. The snap rings in the end of the rear that hold the dust felts in place and six bearings have been fitted just as on the original car. Power is supplied to the rear drive from a .60 Super Cyclone engine of the correct vintage. Coil, condenser, and fuel shut-off mechanism complete the running components. This car is featured in the Eric Zausner “Spindizzies” book on page 23 where it is listed as “extremely rare.” SIZE: 16″ l. CONDTION: Couple minor scratches, otherwise near excellent. 1-7626 (1,500-2,500)
