ALFRED FONTVILLE DE BREANSKI JR. (British, 1877-1957) “SNOWDON AND THE GLASLYN RIVER, N. WALES”. Outstanding oil on canvas landscape scene shows a winding river lined by fields, grasses and trees having a herd of cows grazing with a tall peaked mountain backdrop. A wonderful late summer scene with blue sky and white clouds. Signed lower right. Titled and signed on back of canvas. Housed in what appears to be its original carved and gilt fancy frame.
