FINE MASSACHUSETTS SHERATON CARVED MAHOGANY CARD TABLE. Circa 1830. The rectangular top with serpentine reeded edge and turret corners above the conforming molded frieze, raised on tapered cylindrical reeded legs headed by acanthus-carved, bell-turned capital and pilaster, with multiple ring-turned cuffs, terminating in brass-capped casters. SIZE: 29″ h. x 40″ w. x 18-1/2″ d. PROVENANCE: From the Easton family estate, Paradise Farm, Middletown, R.I. By descent through the family to the current owner. CONDITION: Constructed of fine figured mahogany, retaining original clean surfaces with rich color and patina. All original with no restoration. 9-93291 (2,000-4,000)
